Pete Kirby

ASSOCIATE

“True Purpose is impossible to pull off but it’s the trying to get there that gives you the substance to grow a great crowd around you.”

Pete is a writer, artist, social activist, brand strategist and storyteller living at the end of a dirt track in Cornwall with his wife, daughters and a dog.

His career started at HHCL where he eventually become Creative Director and Partner before leaving to pursue his own thing with a philosophy of ‘Work with people I like, on things I find interesting’”.

He has stuck to this for a prolific 15 years, during which time he has balanced commercial projects working as a writer and strategist on brands such as O2, Guinness, Tesco and Sony, with his cultural work, much of which has appeared in streets, galleries, books, journals, biennales, newspapers, museums and streets around the world.

Pete helped start The Big Lunch with Paul Twivy and the Eden Project, and is currently working on a new attitude towards dementia; a long-term vision for Dartington; creating a village built around a working farm in Truro; an arts-based digital platform and various art and publishing projects that may see the light of day when he’s long gone.
