She has lead cross-functional teams to create successful innovations, equity-building campaigns and driving new business models across geographies.
Passionate about developing talent and helping businesses make positive changes that drive profitable results, Marishka believes “meaningful Purpose is what engages employees in their day-to-day and truly connects consumers with brands”.
While leading skincare innovation for The Body Shop, where she launched its first certified organic skincare line, the retailer’s core Purpose of ‘Beauty With Heart’ guided and resonated in everything: “Every innovation celebrated the skin we have and how it could be enhanced using natural and organic ingredients from Community Trade suppliers.”
Marishka is a fan of Pret A Manger’s Purpose, ground-breaking when it launched in the 1980s, offering healthy delicious food on-the-go with friendly service in a landscape of little more than sandwich shops.
